Isuzu Impulse (1981 to 1992)

The Isuzu Piazza (known as the Impulse in North America) was a sports coupe offered across two generations between 1981 and 1992. The first generation was a front-engine, rear-drive model built to replace the 117 Coupe, and, like its predecessor, was styled by Giugiaro. The 1st Gen Piazza offered a variety of four-cylinder engines ranging from 2.0L to 2.3L, including a 2.0L turbocharged version known as the Impulse RS. The second generation Piazza/Impulse was a front-engined, front or all-wheel drive coupe. 1.6L and 1.8L naturally-aspirated four cylinder engines were offered, as well as a 1.8L turbocharged inline four producing 160hp in the Impulse RS.
