The Lamborghini Diablo GTR was a limited production, track-focused variant of the Lamborghini Diablo. Introduced for the 2000 model year, the Diablo GTR was a more focused, more hardcore version of the Lamborghini Diablo GT. The GTR featured the same engine 6.0L V12 powerplant as the GT, but with various improvements that saw output climb to 590hp and 472 lb ft of torque. This engine drove the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission. Production of the Lamborghini Diablo GTR reached 30 units, all of which were made for the 2000 model year.
