The Lamborghini Diablo SE30 was introduced to the public in 1993 as a special edition of the Diablo built to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary. The SE30 featured numerous improvements and changes to the model creating a street legal race car. Dropping 136kg from the Diablo, the light weight SE30 was a raw track oriented machine. Among the many weight saving features, air conditioning and power steering were removed, power glass windows were swapped for fixed plastic ones, and the adjustable leather seats were replaced with carbon fiber seats. A new fuel system, free flow exhaust, and lighter, redesigned intake manifolds boosted the SE30's power to 523hp. Power went to the rear wheels through a lightened transmission. Visually, the SE30 featured modified front and rear bumpers, rear-wing active aerodynamics, and an extended carbon fiber engine cover. With just 150 of these special edition cars made, the SE30 is a highly desirable example of the Lamborghini Diablo.
