First produced in 1976, the Silhouette was Lamborghini's first targa roofed car. Based on the Lamborghini Urraco, the Silhouette featured the same transversal, rear mid-mounted 3.0L V8 as its P300 predecessor. Beginning its life as a design exercise by Bertone, the Silhouette eventually found its way into production, although in very limited numbers. Only 54 total Silhouettes were ever produced, with two of those being prototypes.
