The Defender 110 Standard  Puma (2007–2016) served as the entry-level commercial workhorse of the 110 lineup, sharing the same footprint as the 110 Wagon but stripping away all luxury trims for fleet and utility use. Powered by the bulged-hood 2.4L (2007–2011) or Euro 5 2.2L (2012–2016) diesel engine ($122\text{ hp}$) with a 6-speed manual, it featured a basic 2 or 3-seat front cabin, vinyl floors, and a modern HVAC dashboard. Structurally, the 110 Standard Hard Top traded the passenger space and windows of the Station Wagon/Utility Wagon for a completely windowless, steel-paneled rear cargo bay, offering maximum commercial security. Within the same mid-length footprint, it directly contrasted with its sister variant, the 110 Standard Soft Top, by sacrificing the Soft Top’s open-air modularity and quick loading access in exchange for permanent weatherproof security and structural rigidity.
