Land Rover Range Rover Series 2 - LP(1995 to 2001)

The second generation Range Rover was introduced in 1995. The Range Rover Series 2 is often referred to as the 'LP,' which was Land Rover's development code, or as the P38(A), which is the building number of the offices where the model was developed. The LP featured styling which updated the original Charles Spencer King design, as well as adjustable air suspension, giving the car greater presence and dynamic ability. The Range Rover LP was available with a 4.0L or 4.6L gasoline V8, or a diesel 2.5L inline six. Production of the Range Rover LP ended in 2001, and was replaced by the Ranger Rover Series 3.
