Range Rover (1969 to 2027)

The Land Rover Range Rover, more commonly known as the Range Rover, was introduced in 1969. The brainchild of Charles Spencer King, the Range Rover was created to combine the off road capabilities of Land Rover cars with the refinement and luxury expected of a high end car. The dynamic abilities, refinement, and luxury of the Range Rover is so highly regarded that the model is often used as the measuring stick for new models created by competitors. The Range Rover has been built in five generations: Series 1 (1969-1996), historically further divided into three sub-series: Classic Series I (1969-1980), Classic Series II (1981-1985) and Classic Series III (1986-1996), reflecting the model’s significant technological evolution over its long production run, marked by major mechanical, structural, and refinement advancements, and Series 2 (1995-2001), Series 3 (2002-2012), Series 4 (2013-2021) and Series 5 (2022-2025)
