The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG was a high performance variant of the C219 CLS-Class that was introduced for the 2007 model year. The CLS 63 AMG replaced the previous CLS55 AMG, and was equipped with Mercedes' M156 E63 engine. This 6.2L naturally aspirated V8 engine had an output of 507hp and 465 lb ft of torque, which drove the rear wheels via a 7 speed automatic transmission. As well as its powerful engine, this series of cars feature improved suspension, as well as various AMG exterior tweaks. Production of the C219 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG lasted until 2010, when it was replaced by the next generation C218 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG.
