The Mercury Zephyr was introduced for the 1978 model year. The Zephyr was based on the Ford Fairmont, and was sold as a coupe, sedan, or station wagon. Engine options for the Zephyr incuded inline four, inline six, and V8 units. Production for the Mercury Zephyr lasted until 1983.
