MG C Race Cars (1967 to 1970)

The MG C was the successor to the MG B, with a 2.9L inline six engine, updated torsion bars, bigger breaks, larger engine-bay for the radiator and a teardrop on the bonnet for the twin SU carburetors. The MGC’s were very competitive cars back in period, became famous by racing enthusiasts after placing 10th over-all at the 1968 12 Hours of Sebring, and by holding a class lap record at Silverstone for many years. These days they continue to be popular in vintage racing given the low operating costs and strong competitiveness.
