Nissan Sentra - B15 - 5th Gen (2000 to 2006)

The B15 was introduced in 2000 as the fifth generation of the Nissan Sentra. It marked a complete overhaul in design and technology, maintaining front-wheel drive and offering greater interior space and structural rigidity. It was offered as 4-door sedan with sportier versions such as the Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V. It was equipped with inline four engines that ranged from 1.8L up to 2.5L in the SE-R versions. Transmissions ranged from 5 and 6-speed manuals to 4-speed automatics. The B15 offered improvements in safety and equipment over its predecessors, being more refined and powerful, although in some markets it was criticized for its stiff suspension and simple interior finishes in base versions. The fifth generation B15 Nissan Sentra was produced until 2006, it was replaced by the B16.
