Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary (2020 to 2020)

Offered exclusively for the 2020 model year, the 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition marked five decades of Z-car history since the Datsun 240Z made its North American debut at the 1969 New York Auto Show. Built on the 370Z Sport coupe, it carried that trim's full performance hardware: 332-horsepower VQ37VHR V6, 19-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels, Akebono four-piston brakes, viscous limited-slip differential, and SynchroRevMatch — available with either the 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. What set it apart was an exterior treatment drawn directly from the BRE Datsun 240Z racecars that won multiple SCCA National Championships in 1970 and 1971. Two two-tone combinations were offered: Pearl White TriCoat over Solid Red; or Gun Metallic over Magnetic Black Pearl. Both featured bold door stripes and red-accented wheels replicating the iconic BRE livery. Inside, the standard Sport seats gave way to leather and synthetic suede upholstery with red accents and a Z-graphic seatback, an Alcantara steering wheel and suede door panel inserts, and 50th Anniversary logos on the tachometer, center console, and sill plates. The standard Sport chin and rear spoilers were deleted — a deliberate choice to maintain the cleaner profile of the original BRE cars. Priced at $2,600 over the Sport, it represents the final special edition of the 370Z generation and the last new Z sold in the United States before the platform was retired.
