NSU Prinz 1200 (1967 to 1972)

The NSU Prinz 1200 was introduced in 1963. It was a version of the Prinz with a bigger 1.2L engine. It had more power and space than the Prinz 1000. Later in 1967 the TT version was introduced with an improved engine. This model was very successful in racing thanks to its light weight and precise handling. It was also available the TTS version: the sportiest and most famous version of the Prinz. It had the 1.2L engine tuned to offer up to 70hp. It was very popular in motorsport and is remembered as an iconic model in small car competitions. All versions were rear wheel drive 2-door coupes with a manual transmission. The NSU Prinz 1200 was produced until 1972.
