The first 250 bodies were built by Bertone in Turin, and the rest were built in Heilbronn at Karrosseriewerke Drauz which was later bought by NSU. This car was initially powered by the 583cc Prinz 50 straight-twin engine with a manual transmission and drive sent to the rear wheels. The NSU Prinz Sport was produced up to 1968.
