The Opel Astra is an model introduced by Opel in 1991. The Astra has been available in hatchback, sedan, wagon and convertible body styles. General Motors, who owned the Opel brand, sold the Astra under a wide range of brands including Chevrolet, Holden, Buick, and Vauxhall. Over the course of production, the Astra was available with a selection of inline four engines, and it was built in six evolutions so far: Astra F (1992-1998), Astra G (1998-2009), Astra H (2004-2014), Astra J (2009-2018),Astra K (2015-2022) and Astra L (2022-).
