Packard Eight - 2nd Gen (1933 to 1936)

The second generation of Packard Eight was introduced for the 1933 model year. The Eight was relaunched with a 5.2L inline eight engine, and was offered in a wide range of open and closed body styles. The second generation Eight was initially offered in two wheelbases, but starting for 1935, three wheelbase lengths were on offer. During this time, Packard organized their model lineup by series, with each series reflecting each evolution of each model. An example from the second generation Eight would be the '1934 Packard 1101 Cabriolet.' The '11' refers to the series (11th series), where the '01' represents the model (01, meaning Eight). The second generation Eight built until 1936. A short lived Third Generation Packard Eight was produced for 1938.
