The Panoz Roadster was a series of sports cars introduced in 1992. The Roadster was Panoz's first production car, featuring a two door roadster body powered by a Ford-sourced V8 engine. This 5.0L V8 engine sent drive to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission. The Roadster featured a simple, no frills interior, and offered no form of roof or top. A total of 44 Roadsters were built before the end of production in 1995, when they were replaced by the Panoz AIV Roadster.
