Pontiac Fiero SE (1984 to 1987)

The Fiero SE (Special Edition) was produced from 1984 to 1987 as the "sophisticated" mid-range option. While early models (1984) used the 4-cylinder engine, it became the primary way to get a V6 without the full "boy-racer" look of the GT. By 1986 and 1987, the SE adopted the Aero nose and ground effects but kept the Notchback rear window, essentially creating a "GT Notchback." It focused on interior comfort, often featuring power options, upgraded cloth or suede-style seating, and the iconic headrest speakers.
