The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S was the top variant offered for the 955 Cayenne. The performance focused 955 Cayenne Turbo S was introduced for the 2006 model year, and featured a range of upgrades and improvements over the standard model, with the most notable being the powerplant. The 955 Turbo S was fitted with a 4.8L twin-turbo V8 engine that had an output of 513hp and 531 lb ft of torque and sent drive to all four wheels via a 6 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 955 Cayenne Turbo S was limited to the 2006 model year, but Porsche would revive the name for the 957 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
