Introduced for the 2008 model year, the Porsche Cayenne 3.6 was the base model offering for the 957 Cayenne. The 957 Cayenne 3.6 was powered by a 3.6L VR6 engine that had an output of 286hp and 284 lb ft of torque. Drive from the engine was sent to all four wheels via a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 957 Cayenne 3.6 ended in 2010, when Porsche introduced the Second Generation Porsche Cayenne.
