The Porsche Cayenne 3.6 was the base model for the 958.2 Cayenne. Introduced for the 2015 model year, the 958.2 Cayenne 3.6 was powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6L VR6 engine that had an output of 296hp and 295 lb ft of torque. This engine sent drive to all four wheels via an 8 speed automatic transmission. Various different trims were offered on the 3.6, such as the Platinum Edition. Production of the 958.2 Cayenne 3.6 lasted until 2018, when Porsche introduced the Third Generation Cayenne.
