Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid - 958.2 (2015 to 2018)

The Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid was a variant of the 958.2 Cayenne that was introduced for the 2015 model year. The S E-Hybrid was the successor to the 958.1 S Hybrid, and while its predecessor was a standard hybrid, this new car was a plug-in hybrid, capable of driving on electric power alone for a short range. The 958.2 S E-Hybrid was powered by a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine that was paired to an 82hp electric motor for a combined output of 410hp and 435 lb ft of torque, which drove all four wheels through an 8 speed automatic transmission. Production of the 958.2 Cayenne S E-Hybrid continued until 2018, when Porsche introduced the Third Generation Cayenne.
