Reliant Regal (1953 to 1973)

The Regal was introduced by Reliant in 1953. This three-wheel car became famous not only for its low cost and simplicity, but also for its peculiar design and light weight, which allowed it to be classified as a motorcycle in some countries, making it cheaper to maintain. Drive sent to the rear wheels, the Regal had a manual transmission and different engine options from 598cc up to 700cc I4. This car was available as a coupe, van or convertible. The Reliant Regal was produced up to 1973.
