Subaru is a Japanese automotive manufacturer that traces its roots to 1915. Originally, Subaru was known as Fuji Heavy Industries, and the company began to manufacture cars in the 1950s under the Subaru name. The first largely available model was the Subaru 360, which was joined by popular models such as the Leone, BRAT, and Legacy. While Subaru has long been known for producing quality cars, the company has always placed an emphasis on all wheel drive, as well as boxer engines. This has lead the company to actively participate in the World Rally Championship, where it has won numerous titles over the year. This rallying success has bred some incredibly special cars, mostly all of which use the legendary Impreza as their base.
