The Subaru WRX STi Series.Hyperblue was a limited edition variant of the VA Subaru WRX STi that was available for the 2016 model year. The Series.Hyperblue was largely a cosmetic offering, painted in its namesake Hyper Blue with black BBS wheels as well as various other small tweaks. These cars were powered by the EJ257 engine, which was a 305hp turbocharged 2.5L flat four boxer powerplant. Although the majority of Series.Hyperblue cars were equipped with a 6 speed manual, the Australian market received 200 examples with a CVT automatic transmission. A total of 950 examples of the Subaru WRX STi Series.Hyperblue were built.
