Subaru Impreza 22B STi - 1st Gen (1998 to 1999)

Often considered to be the holy grail of Subaru Imprezas, the 22B STi was a limited production high performance variant. The 22B was created in order to celebrate Subaru's 40th anniversary, as well as three consecutive constructors titles in the World Rally Championship. These rare and coveted Imprezas were offered as special widebody coupes fitted with a raft of improvements to the drivetrain as well as larger and uprated turbocharged 2.2L flat four engine. It is believed that 424 total examples were produced, 25 non-numbered examples were created for the UK and Australia, while 399 numbered editions were sold in the Japanese market. It is important to note that while numbered editions are badged up to 400, the number 13 was not produced as it is believed to be unlucky.
