Suzuki Equator (2008 to 2012)

The Suzuki Equator was a mid-size pickup truck introduced in 2009, built on the Nissan Frontier platform. It debuted at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. The Equator was offered as either a four-seat Extended Cab or a five-seat Crew Cab; its exterior featured a distinct front fascia with a bold chrome grille and unique headlights, setting it apart from its Nissan sibling. Power came from either a 2.5L I4 producing 152 horsepower or a robust 4.0L V6 with 261 hp, both sourced from Nissan. Available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive with manual or automatic transmissions, it offered flexibility for various driving needs. Despite its capabilities, the Equator struggled with low sales, leading to its discontinuation in 2012.
