Suzuki Kei (1998 to 2009)

The Suzuki Kei was a kei-class hatchback with a mini-SUV attitude, launched in October 1998 as the successor of the Suzuki Cervo. Built from 1998 to 2009, it was essentially a single generation, though it evolved through a 1999 five-door expansion, a late-2000 facelift that killed the original three-door, a 2001 refresh with a new dashboard, and later Kei Sport and Kei Works offshoots. Engines were 657–658cc three-cylinder, topping out at 63 hp, paired with FWD or full-time 4WD and 5-speed manual, 3-speed automatic, or later 4-speed automatic gearboxes.
