Produced on the heels of the T15, the Talbot-Lago T14 had one of the lowest production numbers, with just 54 examples built. The sporting car was given a 2.5L four-cylinder so it could be entered into its class for racing. Proving unreliable, the engine was replaced a couple of years later with a small BMW V8 of the same capacity. By 1959 the company was sold to Simca, and the T14 received its third engine, the modest 95hp V8, from the new owners. The small sports car met its demise in 1959.
