The fifth-generation Toyota Celica GTS, which was introduced for the 1990 model year, came with a few more options than the Toyota Celica GT. It had the same engine as the GT, a 2.2L I4 (5S-FE), but with a bit more horsepower. The GTS offered ABS for the duration of the generation and a leather interior, along with a power sunroof along with other additions. The only higher equipped variant for the 5th Gen Celica was the GT-Four.
