The Turbo All-Trac was introduced in 1990 as the most powerful and advanced version of the 5th Gen Toyota Celica. Derived directly from the rally scene, it was available as a 2 door hatchback powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 3S-GTE inline four engine, producing up to 200hp paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. Its permanent all-wheel drive system included a center differential and viscous lock, giving it excellent traction and handling in demanding conditions. In other markets such as Japan and Europe, this same model was known as the Celica GT-Four. This model was notable for being the homologated base for the Group A rally car with which Toyota won the WRC in 1992. The Toyota Celica Turbo All-Trac - 5th Gen was produced until 1992.
