Toyota Cressida - X70 - 3rd Gen (1984 to 1989)

The third generation Toyota Cressida was introduced in 1984. Also known as the X70, the 3rd Gen was available exclusively as a 4-door rear-wheel drive sedan, introducing significant improvements in refinement and technology. It was primarily powered by a 2.8L inline six engine ​​with electronic injection derived from the Supra. Transmission options included a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic with overdrive. Its design was more boxy and restrained, but featured modern details such as rectangular headlights, four-wheel independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. The X70 third generation Toyota Cressida was produced until 1989, when it was replaced by the X80 fourth generation.
