Toyota Hilux - N80/90/100/110 - 5th Gen (1989 to 1997)

In 1988 for the 1989 model year, Toyota introduced the fifth generation of the Toyota Hilux (or 5th Gen Toyota Pickup in North America). The Hilux received a minor facelift in 1991 (for the 1992 model year), which was a minor grille change and the new Toyota emblem that had been recently adopted. During its production years, it was available in both manual and automatic, with a range of engines fincluding the carbureted 2.4 I4 (22R), the fuel injected 2.4L I4 (22R-E), and the 3.0L V6 (3VZ-E). The Hilux range included a couple of diesel variants, the 2.4L I4 (2L) and th 2.8L I4 (3L). The Hilux continued in production and it was replaced by the 6th generation during the 1997 model year.
