Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 90 Series (1996 to 2002)

The 90 Series Land Cruiser, also known as the Land Cruiser Prado or Land Cruiser Challenger, was introduced in May 1996 as an evolution of the 70 series-based Land Cruiser Prado. Its design remained medium duty, but the body was lengthened and steered toward a more passenger-oriented 4-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle. In the UK it was called the Land Cruiser Colorado and replaced the 3rd gen 4Runner in that market. A number of engine variants were available during production including the 3.4L 5VZ-FE, a 3.0L 4-cylinder 1KZ-TE turbo diesel, a 2.7L 3RZ-FE, and a diesel 3.0L 1KD-FTV.
