The Model P was introduced by Triumph Motorcycles in 1924. It was a highly successful motorcycle due to its low cost and reliability. Equipped with a 494cc single-cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission, it became the most affordable model on the British market. Its mass production eventually positioned Triumph as a leader in the sector and contributed to the decline of many smaller manufacturers. Although simple in design, with total-loss lubrication and basic brakes, its durability made it very popular and today it is one of the brand's most iconic vintage motorcycles.
