The Scrambler was introduced in 2006 as Triumph Mototorcycles modern reinterpretation of the "desert sled" bikes of the 1960s. It was based on the Bonneville, initially equipped with an 865cc parallel twin originally carbureted, then with electronic injection. In 2017, the Street Scrambler 900 arrived, with a 900cc High Torque engine, more urban and accessible, while in 2019 the more radical Scrambler 1200 XC/XE appeared, with a 1200cc engine and 90hp, advanced chassis and authentic off-road capabilities. Since 2021, the range was enriched with special editions such as the Bond Edition (only 250 units, homage to James Bond) and the Steve McQueen Edition (1000 units, homage to The Great Escape). In 2023, Triumph renewed the family with the Scrambler 1200 X/XE and added the new Scrambler 400 X, a 398cc single-cylinder engine designed for a wider audience.
