The Thruxton was introduced in 2004 as the cafe racer Triumph Motorcycle. It was based on the Bonneville, initially with an 865cc air-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine and carburetors, then with electronic fuel injection. In 2016, it took a major leap forward with the Thruxton 1200, equipped with a 1200cc liquid-cooled engine producing almost 100hp. It offers standard versions and the sportier Thruxton R, with Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes. In 2019, the exclusive Thruxton TFC appeared, a limited series with 107hp and collector's finishes, followed by the lighter and more powerful Thruxton RS with 103hp. Finally in 2025, Triumph launched the Thruxton Final Edition, a commemorative farewell in an exclusive green finish. The Triumph Thruxton was produced until 2025.
