The TVR Vixen was a family of sports cars that debuted for the 1968 model year. The Vixen was available as a two door, front engined coupe that saw four main evolutions (Series 1 through Series 4). The majority of Vixen cars were powered by a 1.6L inline four which was offered in a range of tunings, although a 1.3L inline four was offered on the economy 1300 variant. In 1971, the 2500 (not to be confused with the TVR 2500M), was introduced, which was fitted with a Triumph-sourced 2.5L inline six that had already been approve for sale in the United States.
