For the 1990 model year, Vauxhall released the Calibra, a car jointly produced and sold by Opel, Chevrolet, and Holden. The vehicle was designed to compete with popular two-door Japanese coupes of the era. It was offered to customers with various inline four engines or a V6. The Calibra was front-wheel drive, but a later version with all-wheel drive became available. Production stopped in 1997.
