Volvo 66 (1976 to 1980)

The Volvo 66 was a series of compact cars that were introduced for the 1976 model year. The Volvo 66 was largely a rebadged version of the DAF 66, and was offered in a coupe or wagon body style. These cars were largely sold in mainland Europe and were powered by a 1.1L or 1.3L inline four that drove the rear wheels through a 'Variomatic' continuously variable transmission. Production of the Volvo 66 was short lived, with the model discontinued in 1980.
