Volvo S60 - 2nd Gen (2011 to 2018)

The second-generation Volvo S60, produced from 2010 to 2018, marked a significant evolution for Volvo's compact executive sedan, introducing a more dynamic design and a sophisticated range of powertrains that included a range of turbocharged engines, starting with the 2.5L T5 inline-five (250 hp) and 3.0L T6 inline-six (300 hp, 325 lb-ft), later joined by Drive-E 2.0L four cylinders producing up to 302 hp. European markets also received D3, D4, and D5 diesels. The S60 Polestar, launched globally in 2013, was the performance flagship powered by a 3.0L turbo I6 delivering 345hp, paired with AWD, Volvo added in 2015 the S60 Cross Country, a unique lifted sedan (+2.5 in ground clearance) with rugged trim and standard AWD, powered by the T5 2.5L Turbo. It combined sedan comfort with light off road capability, an unconventional but distinctive niche. Drivetrain choices included FWD or AWD, with 6 speed manual, 6 speed Geartronic automatic, and later 8 speed automatic transmissions.
