Update! Transmission was just rebuilt and comes with a warranty!
This 1941 Dodge pre war sedan is in great shape. Always starts even after sitting for a long time like over the winter months. We drive it around in parades and special events and that’s about it and that's why we're selling it. It just doesn't get loved enough.
It’s a 4 door sedan with a 6-cylinder side-valve engine and Dodge’s Fluid Drive 3-speed gearbox with torque converter.
This car is amazing. It was restored about 10 years ago. Full frame off restore. Very clean underneath. So much work done to it.
Here's what was done to it:
- Rebuilt engine (about 1000 miles on it since done)
- Has been converted to 12 volt system and all lights work
- Repainted with sheet metal and floor boards replaced
- New tires
- New exhaust
- New gas tank
- New fuel lines
- New brakes
- New battery
- Newer tires (6 years ago)
- carbs rebuilt
- new carpet installed last month
- tune up just done and been driving it around all month
Comes with original running board (not restored) and several extra parts including motor and trim pieces.
Original mohair seats. New carpet. Interior mostly original from 1941 including dash and rear window fans. Just needs a few cosmetic finishing touches inside like headliner, trim and door panels could be updated.
Just drove it home from the transmission shop. The fluid drive transmission has now been rebuilt and is as good as new and under warranty which will go with the new owner.
Box of bonus parts come with it as well as the rare original (unrestored) running boards.
