This is a very rare special early series I 80” Chassis number R860696. Started as a very sound and highly original car. Completely disassembled, totally restored ground up including rebuild of original type 1600 side plate engine. Car has correct wheels, early center PTO (extremely rare), front winch and rear winch (extremely rare) fully restored and operable. Original chassis was stripped/blasted with any repairs needed back to original specs. All work documented by photographs and receipts. Work completed in England by Julian Shoolheifer, an award-winning restorer specializing in Series I Land Rovers. Importantly there were quite a few changes at chassis 750, making this a very early, pre-production line, 1st year Land Rover. It has the original UK log book, registration number and service records from 1948-1960’s. Car was meticulously restored including drive train, brakes, transmission and finished in an original looking patina style to look period correct. This is a great opportunity to purchase a very rear full frame off restoration done completely and properly in England by the best.
