This 1960 Ford F100 is powered by its original 292ci V8 engine and a floor-mounted 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The seller acquired the truck a year ago from a family member and it shows 49,109 miles on the inoperable odometer and the total mileage is unknown. The two-tone teal and white paint is original and is complemented by matching painted wheels, and a white painted grill and hooded headlights. The paint continues throughout the interior door panels and dashboard surrounding white vinyl seats with dark green inserts. The only modification is the addition of 3-point shoulder safety belts. This 1960 F100 is located in Miami, Florida.
This classic Ford pickup has been inspected and photographed by a third party to document the current condition. The exterior of the truck shows well and it's clear that it has been well-cared for over the years. There is some minor surface rust, paint chips and dryness of the window seals that can be expected with age. The wood-lined bed is solid but shows some cracking of the varnish. Inside, the truck is clean and in good condition. The seats show little wear and the carpet has been replaced. The inspection found that the Pioneer cassette player is not fully functional and the tread has separated from the brake pedal. Recent service to the vehicle includes the replacement of the brakes and an oil change. Mechanically, a road test confirmed that all features of this classic truck function as they were intended. The sale includes one set of keys.

About the model
The Ford F-100 was a light-duty variant of the 3rd Gen Ford F-Series that debuted for the 1957 model year. The F-100 was a 1/2-ton truck that was mainly built as a pickup, but was also offered as a panel or stake bed. Pickup trucks were built with short and long beds, which were available with sleek Styleside or fendered Flareside truck bed styling. For 1957, dual headlights marked the front of the F-100, but from 1958, dual headlights were equipped. The standard engine was a 139hp 223ci inline six, but an optional V8 was offered. For 1957 this V8 was a 272ci unit with 171hp, but from 1958 onwards, it was a 292ci unit with 172hp. Transmissions available were a standard 3 speed manual, or optional automatic gearboxes. Notably, the 3rd Gen F-Series saw the introduction of optional factory-equipped four wheel drive, which was offered alongside standard rear wheel drive. Production of the 3rd Gen Ford F-100 ended in 1960, when it was replaced by the 4th Gen Ford F-100.
