This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 230SL is said to have been imported to Saudi Arabia by a German embassy staff member before being purchased by the current owner approximately 43 years ago. It is one of the first 230SL's ever produced, as the number #156 based on the chassis plate. The vehicle was restored in 1991 and was subsequently imported to the US in 2010. It is finished in white over blue and gray upholstery and is powered by a 2.3-liter M127 inline-six with factory Bosch fuel injection paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a blue convertible top, 14″ steel wheels with painted hubcaps, and a heater.
