About this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

VIN: 40837S107671

Exterior: This car is finished in its factory-original Silver Blue (Code 912). For a 60-year-old fiberglass car, the bodywork is exceptionally straight. The panel gaps are consistent throughout, but what really surprised me was the doors. They close with a solid, mechanical "thunk" that you rarely find on a vintage Vette; it’s a small detail, but it tells you a lot about how well this car was put together. It’s currently sitting on 17-inch Cragar aluminum wheels with fresh tires, which gives it a slightly more muscular stance without losing that classic 60s silhouette.

Interior: The cabin is a great place to be. You’ve got the dark blue vinyl seats and brand-new blue carpets that look crisp against the Silver Blue paint. To keep the vintage aesthetic, it’s fitted with a "stealth" modern stereo—it looks and feels like the original factory unit, but it actually works and sounds like a modern system. Between the airplane-style gauges and the tactile chrome switches, it feels less like a car and more like a cockpit.

Mechanics & Underneath: This C2 has had a full frame-off restoration, and it shows. The entire chassis and all suspension components were sandblasted and powder-coated, it honestly might look better underneath than on top.

The heart of the car is its matching-numbers small block, but it’s been massaged to put out 350hp. To make it a true "turn-key" classic, it features electronic fuel injection hidden inside the carburetor housing—you get the reliability of a modern car with the look of a period-correct engine bay. Much of this precision work was handled by Pekka Nyström, whose reputation in the Swedish classic car scene speaks for itself.

With upgraded four-wheel disc brakes, a composite mono-leaf rear spring, and a shorter steering gear, it doesn't "float" like an old car. It’s tight, responsive, and sounds incredible through the headers and stainless steel exhaust.

History: This Corvette has a fascinating, documented history that started in Ontario, Canada. In 2008, it was sold by RM Auctions to an owner in the UK. Two years later, it moved to Germany via Coys, where it remained for a decade of careful ownership before being imported to Sweden in 2020. The car comes with a comprehensive history file that makes tracing its global journey easy. It includes various invoices for parts and maintenance, particularly from its time in Germany
