What’s special about this listing

This 1971 Daimler Limousine was purchased from the San Diego Automotive Museum in 2015,
and has had many upgrades to the engine since its purchase. The original engine was replaced with a Chevy Small block engine sometime in the late 70s. Right hand drive, perfect leather interior, all period chrome features, 3 speed automatic, 4 wheel disc brakes, minimal rust. Seats six passengers with the jump seat.

This is my late husband’s car which he drove weekly both locally and to Los Angeles, until he was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2018. In the years that he owned it he had improvements done by a Jaguar specialist, such as new brakes, transmission, fuel lines, water pump and radiator. I have all the paperwork pertaining to the extensive work. It has been stored in a garage since 2018 and I recently had a tune up and inspection at Mel’s Auto Repair.

My husband was a member of the San Diego Jaguar Club, and he drove this car to many events. I am looking for someone who will care for this unique and special car as much as he did.
