May 17, 1973, must have been a very special day for the first owner of this carefully composed “Taiga Grün” BMW E9 3.0 CSi. The car was delivered new in the Netherlands and has been in the possession of the last owner for no less than 40 years. This BMW has been restored in the past and is still in good condition.

The body has been reduced to bare metal and repaired where necessary. The car was then repainted in its original colour. The work was carried out very well at the time and the general condition of the car can therefore only be described as very good. The body still looks beautiful with nice thin sheet metal and neat fits. The chrome work and the wheels are also in good condition.

The interior is lined with black fabric and is in good condition. Because the car has been stored indoors for large parts of its life, the interior did not need to be reupholstered. The black fabric upholstery is in good condition and the carpets are also neatly cared for. The dashboard of the BMW looks beautiful, as do the instruments and controls present.

The technique was overhauled during the restoration. The cylinder head has been overhauled by a specialist and all bearings and seals of the engine have been replaced. The cylinders were re-honed and new piston rings were fitted. In addition, the clutch was replaced and the timing chain replaced. The car is also equipped with ventilated brake discs including new brake pads and new brake lines. In addition, the water pump was replaced, the shock absorbers and springs and a new master cylinder were placed.

In short, not only a beautiful BMW E9 to see but also a car that is technically in good condition.
