The 1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi is significant as one of the final and most refined versions of the 308 series before the introduction of the Quattrovalvole models. It is powered by a 2.9L mechanical fuel injected V8 producing approximately 214 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Fuel injection offered improved cold starts, drivability, and long-term reliability compared to earlier carbureted cars.
