What’s special about this listing

Really Nice 82' 900T 5 speed.
This car is a time capsule for sure. Purchased it a few years back, 10+ or so years? , it had been stored inside mostly, paint was faded light surface scratched some, and decided to give her a nice new coat, no rust on the car, it was a sand, prep and paint by a really great shop I have used for years, original black, very clean job, they took there time with it and I'm very happy with it. Car came with the louver on it, but I did not put it back on when I had her cleaned up, honestly, it's hard as sh*t to see out that thing in the rear view mirror when you get older! I do have the louver and it's in great shape!
It has excellent Inca's on it, I sanded and repainted those a few years back as a "bored winter project" and matched the Inca's with the original Saab gray color of the grill, I did it basically too match the grills correct color code, ties the car colors together, but that could just be me lol. She's a pretty car for sure.
Since I have had her going on 10 years now, the car is and has been store inside with a cover on it, she has been taken care of.
Interior is original, no rips, not a lot of wear on the seats or carpets, door panels are great, it's got that cool crushed velour interior (hence the time capsule reference) and the car has that "Saab smell", lol, if you have one you know, it's a Saab thing, it's not a bad thing, it's just a Saab thing! I did have a new headliner installed, it's perfect, the other one had a small rip in it it ,drove me nuts...
Dash does have the 2 small dash cracks near the speakers, most of them did, and I would honestly call them minor, I can take a pick of them if requested, they never spread like others I've seen but I also don't leave it out for the sun to beat on it either. I put a blue-tooth CD radio in it with new rear speakers a while back, but I also have the original Blaupunkt Radio Cassette that worked fine when we swapped it out, it can go right back in easily for the purist, that will go with the car of course.
Exterior wise, she's great, the electric antenna was snapped/broken when I got the car years back, we put in a stock manual one that works and looks great, but if you were to put the original radio back in, the power antenna can be found and will work off of the Blaupunkt , the antenna harness is there in trunk complete and tucked away where it should be.
The only other blemish is both rear view mirrors vibrate/flex a bit at higher speeds, it's not a noise issue, it's prolly more of an OCD thing with me to be honest.
Trunk and hatchback compartment is really clean and immaculate, never saw or has signs of water, dampness etc...
I cleaned that up a few years back and undercoated it after a sand and prime, original spare etc. all there and locked in...
Mechanically, the car runs fantastic, she's smooth, shifts great, and turbo kicks right up...she's sneaky Saab quick, and she's quiet, she doesn't rattle, she drives really nice. I don't drive it a lot, she never see's snow, and has never been in the rain once since I have owned her gave her new haircut (paint) and she drives straight and true, she's fun for sure!
Car does have A/C, it came with the Belt off, I honestly never, did anything with that, clutch does engage with the switch but I never got around to checking the seals or having her converted to present day gas, I drove her more in the spring or fall and didn't need it so it was another rainy day thing I just haven't got too.
Any work done to the car has been done by Wayne of Wayne's World of Saabs, if your in New England, you know of him or have heard of him, he's an old school master Saab Tech who really cares for the cars and this is one of his Favs lol!
Over the years I have had her, regular oil/service etc. was done even if it wasn't up to miles on oil, replaced the Master cylinder a few years back, replaced exhaust manifold ( the got this one) and had the new one powder coated before install, new exhaust that prolly has 20 hours run time on it, she never really needed a lot, she was taken care of and not abused, I gave her back her shine and kept her stored inside lol...Glass is all good etc....
The car isn't a show car, she's a very good to great driver, and has been cared for. This is one of those where I don't need to sell it, but I'd be happy if she went to a good Saab person to be honest, there are not a lot of these models left around, and I have other projects for my OCD stuff to keep me busy! About as honest as i can get! If your have serious interest and need more specific pics, let me know. thanks for taking a look! Price listed OBO
